one morning while i was delivering the milk and you were just about to set off on a training run? with two tyres strapped to your backs. I have to cope with the cold winter mornings but they wont come anywhere near what you have install. all the very best of british to you!

I'm so proud of my boys. Gutted, obviously, that I'm not coming with you and hope that you'll survive without my dulcet radio tones at base camp. I'll be thinking of you as you pad your way through each of those 1500 miles and rest assured that I'll have a hot toddy waiting for you on your victorious return. Now - about next years trip.....

Dear BearDodgers. Antartyica sounds fab. I have been there but......on a luxury Cruise ship and to the Peninsula only; but I did slide down the snow on my jacket!
Keep in touch - and make sure that Charlie Hunter washes his arm-pits at least before he goes!!!!!
